Rudolph the Red Nosed.......OH MY GOSH IT IS SANTA CLAUSE!!!!

Last Night we took Kaylea and some of our friends went to New Haven and rode the Polar Express. All children on the ride were encouraged to wear their pajamas so Tiff and I made a pair for each of the girls. We got to the depot and loaded the train. All the tickets were assigned to a seat so all the girls sat together with Denise and the other 3 adults sat across from them. As we walked out of the depot Kaylea being the observant little thing she is said "hey momma look there is Camden."and sure enough it was a little boy that she goes to preschool with.

As the train departed the depot they began reading Twas the Night Before Christmas. The train helpers came through every car and served everyone hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies. The ride was about 30 or 45 minutes one way and we arrived at the North Pole. It was so pretty. It was a house out in the middle of nothing that was decorated to the hilt. All the girls were singing and all the sudden Bailey looked across at Jacey and Kaylea and said "oh my Gosh it is Santa Clause" All the girls pressed their faces to the train window and here he came. He walked from his house to the train. As he was making his way into each and every train car the conductor came by and punched every ticket. Kaylea thought this was the neatest thing. Here is a pic of her...

I wish that I knew how to post a video on here of her when santa came into our car. She was standing in her seat and her eyes just immediatly lit up. Now we have come a long way since last year when she didn't want to even get close to him. This child is scared of Chuck E Cheese, so we were not sure how it was gonna go over. She LOVED it. On the ride back they came and handed out candy canes to all the children and they sang songs. We arrived back to the train station and went in to see Santa. Kaylea told him she wanted a Sleeping Beauty doll and a Sleeping Beauty music box. Man I know it won't be like that for long. I was hoping Kaylea was not listening when the older girls said what they wanted. Laptops, Hannah Montana, and Flat Screen TV's. OH GOODNESS.
It didn't take long on the journey back home for Kaylea to get really quiet. Which is Odd. This is why.....
I would HIGHLY recommend this trip to anyone. Grown up or Child. Go to www.kyrail.org not only do they have Christmas trains, which are all sold out and I see why, but they have other excursions you can go on. Thanks for reading and I'll be blogging again soon!!

In the Lakeside Cottage or Mall...

Tonite was Kaylea's Christmas Pogram (as she called it) at Pre-school. Let me fo ahead and tell you there is nothing any more cute than all those little kids memorizing those lines and songs. Kaylea has been absolutely BELTING out Away in a Manger for weeks now. We tried so hard to get her into that school and she is the youngest in her class. All the other kids are already 4, but she has a blast. Right in the middle of her singing she turns to Mrs. Sabrina (whom has the patience of JOB she has 5 children of her own) and Kaylea says "I need to go tell my mama something" Mrs Sabrina shook her head NO at Kaylea so what does she do. She takes her chewing gum out of her mouth, which I was unaware she had, and handed it to the teacher. HAHAHA

All the little kiddies did so well tonite and I sit and think about how thankful that I am for having her. Perfectly healthy, very smart and so happy. Then you look back and evaluate your life and the things you have done and been through and wonder how there are people in the world that do not believe in God. There is no other reason other than him that she can be so perfect. Thank you God for her and giving her to me just at the perfect time.

Sacaja---Kaylea

Kaylea is just loving pre-school. As part of her Thanksgiving activities at school she had the option to either dress as an Indian or as a Pilgram. OK to start things off right to anyone who reads these if you know my little Kaylea Rose she just wouldn't juve as a Pilgrim. Quiet, Submissive, Reserved...um NOPE not her. So it only fit to dress her as an Indian. I got her dressed that morning and took her to Tiffs house for her to braid her hair. OK I always wanted this girlie girl and I got her..but I have tried a thousand times and I just cannot grasp the concept of French Braiding! hahaha I am a very crafty person but I just can't do it. Kaylea just laughs and says momma it don't look right! haha

Well after she was completely ready Tiff wanted to take her outside and take pictures. I often sit and look at her and wonder what goes through her mind. I know as an adult, mother, wife you know all the grown up stuff my mind races constantly. 24 hours a day. But I wonder what she thinks about and what intrests her. In this picture she has a HUGE Maple Leaf. She looked in such wonder at it. She had to carry it with her all day. She was by far the cutest lil Indian there. I'll keep you all updated thru the Holidays.

Sorry it has been so long!!

Goodness It has been such a long time. ( I forgot my password) Well to catch everybody up here we go... Kaylea has started Pre-school. SHE LOVES IT. She seems to be doing very well. She can count from 1 to 15 in Spanish. She knows how to say "What is your name..my name is Kaylea" in Spanish. She has made lots of friends and few enemies. The very first day we were there a little boy slugged her in the arm. Yes I know what the means! haha

She has gotten a new cousin Katherine Nicole Kidd was born on November 17th at 4am. Kaylea thinks she is great! She has gotten to hold and kiss on her and just loves her.
I promise to do better about this posting thing...Until then....

Kaylea and Lucas

Well I guess I can say it never fails. All the good things happen when I am not around. I was gone out of town this past weekend and they took a road trip. Mimi, EO, Daddy and Kaylea all took a trip to Uncle Brad, Aunt Wendy and Lil Lucas's house. They seem to have had a wonderful time because I got some great pics that were taken. Here they are for everyone to enjoy!
