Rudolph the Red Nosed.......OH MY GOSH IT IS SANTA CLAUSE!!!!

Last Night we took Kaylea and some of our friends went to New Haven and rode the Polar Express. All children on the ride were encouraged to wear their pajamas so Tiff and I made a pair for each of the girls. We got to the depot and loaded the train. All the tickets were assigned to a seat so all the girls sat together with Denise and the other 3 adults sat across from them. As we walked out of the depot Kaylea being the observant little thing she is said "hey momma look there is Camden."and sure enough it was a little boy that she goes to preschool with.

As the train departed the depot they began reading Twas the Night Before Christmas. The train helpers came through every car and served everyone hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies. The ride was about 30 or 45 minutes one way and we arrived at the North Pole. It was so pretty. It was a house out in the middle of nothing that was decorated to the hilt. All the girls were singing and all the sudden Bailey looked across at Jacey and Kaylea and said "oh my Gosh it is Santa Clause" All the girls pressed their faces to the train window and here he came. He walked from his house to the train. As he was making his way into each and every train car the conductor came by and punched every ticket. Kaylea thought this was the neatest thing. Here is a pic of her...

I wish that I knew how to post a video on here of her when santa came into our car. She was standing in her seat and her eyes just immediatly lit up. Now we have come a long way since last year when she didn't want to even get close to him. This child is scared of Chuck E Cheese, so we were not sure how it was gonna go over. She LOVED it. On the ride back they came and handed out candy canes to all the children and they sang songs. We arrived back to the train station and went in to see Santa. Kaylea told him she wanted a Sleeping Beauty doll and a Sleeping Beauty music box. Man I know it won't be like that for long. I was hoping Kaylea was not listening when the older girls said what they wanted. Laptops, Hannah Montana, and Flat Screen TV's. OH GOODNESS.
It didn't take long on the journey back home for Kaylea to get really quiet. Which is Odd. This is why.....
I would HIGHLY recommend this trip to anyone. Grown up or Child. Go to www.kyrail.org not only do they have Christmas trains, which are all sold out and I see why, but they have other excursions you can go on. Thanks for reading and I'll be blogging again soon!!
